3pm Update: Time-wise, we're right on track with what I expected... A tornado watch is in effect until 10pm for most of East Kansas including the 6news viewing area. That being said, I've been watching the radar, and aside from a few pop-ups developing between Emporia and Manhattan, the heaviest storms are still out in central Kansas. They will continue firing up and racing Northward, although the entire line is pushing slowly East toward us, and I still believe our best window of opportunity for storms will begin to open around 6. Our highest threat is also still looking to be hail and high winds, although tornadoes are certainly possible...
