September Student Athlete of the Month
This September, we honor one of the hardest working prepsters in 6-A athletics. Not only is this firebird the point guard of the girls basketball team, but she's also focused on earning a college scholarship for track and cross country. Congratulations to Lynn Robinson, our September Intrust Bank High School Scholar Athlete of the Month.

High School Football Preview
For the first time this year, both high school football stadiums in the city of Lawrence will be silent on a Friday night. This evening, both the Lawrence High and Free State High football teams hit the road. That means our High School Game of the Week crew heads to Eudora.
Tough Defeat
On Friday, Eudora Head Coach Gregg Webb and the Cardinals watched their second win of the season slip right through their fingers. EHS out gained St. James 266 to 155. However, five cardinal turnovers would be the difference in the ballgame.
High School Football is back
The Jayhawks aren't the only team in town kicking off this weekend. Lawrence High is the site of Friday night's High School Game of the Week.
On the prowl
The team with the biggest chip on it's shoulder heading into this Friday night is Basehor-Linwood. In 2010, the Bobcats practically had their state championship bags packed, only to be booted in the opening round by one of their biggest rivals.
