Reality dating show comes to Lawrence
Valentine’s Day might be over, but love still lingers in Lawrence. CBS representatives were in Lawrence Wednesday looking for men and women for a new reality dating show called, “3.” The show will have three women who will help one another search for their soul mate. They will have the option to choose from 100 single men.
Casting producers are currently all over the county interviewing potential cast members, but Lawrence was a major hot spot.
“I love this town, so any opportunity I can come and bring a fun and positive show, I will,” says Maria Skeels, casting producer for the show. “I will never bring a slimy show to Lawrence.”
The women say they are looking for confident men who are career driven and have a great sense of humor. But they aren’t the only ones. Men say they are looking for women with outgoing personalities, and the potential to be loud and nerdy but still completely confident at the same time.
Casting producers want to have the women cast in the next three weeks, but they will continue looking for the men over the next few months. The show will air sometime this summer.
