Footprints Silent Film Series: Sunrise

From the organizers: The Monte Alto Motion Picture Orchestra, a five-piece chamber ensemble will perform live to the silent film Sunrise (1927) directed by F.W. Murnau.
Combining the artistic approach of German Expressionism with the romance and comedy of Hollywood, Sunrise won a special Academy Award for most artistic production and Best Cinematography, as well as Best Actress in a Leading Role for star Janet Gaynor.
